Adventure Based Therapy

Therapy doesn't have to be miserable and stuffy to be productive. In fact, we might argue that exactly the opposite is true.

Simply put, actually doing something is more effective than talking about doing something.

Whether you are in the therapy office or out at an eco-therapy site, adventure therapists create and capitalize on life-changing experience leading you to feel progress more quickly compared to other approaches. 

At Life Adventures, you choose your own adventures. Sometimes the greatest adventure lies in forming a genuine relationship with your therapist. Therefore, sessions can occur both in the office and/or out at relevant locations depending on your goals. Collaborating with your therapist, you will design individualized sessions that include indoor support, walking, hiking, rock climbing, sailing, ropes courses, art therapy interventions, and problem-solving tasks. Adventure-based sessions are available for individuals, couples, families, and groups.
